Basic overview

Statistics
We decide to foucus on females as the statistics show that 16-21 year old femals have a higher rates of obisety. We are going to focus on the older bracket of teenagers as at the moment its only mainly foucused on children and adults and dosn't target this group. This group also has shown to have greater social impact (image, friends, social life) so we are goign to use this as part of our campain to tackle obesity.
Poster
The second poster we analysed we thought was effective and attention grabbing because of its shock tactics and it shows the risk involved in unhealthy and over eating.
Leaflet
The leaflets we anaylsed we didn't like because they were too bulky in information and we want ours to be more simple so teenagers will want to read it as they wont read loads of writing. The leaflets also only looked at one aspect of causes of obesity (tv) we want to have a bigger overview so it can target all people. We want a more generalised view.
Website
We liked the NHS website because it had more detail and went into it more and didnt just outline them. We would liek to do this on our website as our poster or leflet will grab peoples attention and then they will go onto our website to tell you more detail and not just tell them what we already know. i.e we would inclue more detial on how obesity effects you and your body not just that its bad for you and go into other peoples stories on how it affected tehir life. we will also put on a chat room so peole can discuss their problems, share their stories, and give tips.
